i've read countless articles claiming that cable is dead. that netflix and hulu with their streaming services and relative inexpensiveness will eventually oust the cable company from its top spot as king of the hill. yet for every article that supports this claim theres another one claiming that it may well be another ten or more years before streaming content unseats cable as king of the hill.
however that is not what this article is about. this article is about whether you should switch from cable to netflix and hulu. now you may have noticed i have put netflix and hulu together. this is because by themselves neither one is capable of replacing cable. netflix is mainly movies and first seasons of shows. meanwhile hulu is mainly tv and the latest episodes of shows.
